Patriot Grave Marking - Rhode Island Regiment
We will begin the process of marking the graves of the Rhode Island Regiment soldiers buried in the Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery by marking the first 5 Patriots named on the plaque: Fifer Cato Brown (Dec. 8, 1781), Private Abraham Perry (Dec. 9, 1781), Private Cesar Rose (Dec. 9, 1781), the ancestor of Jason Roomes, Drummer Prince Angell (Dec. 9, 1781), and Private Dublin Briggs (Dec. 10, 1781).
